“BRIDAL COUPLE CIRCUS” a
Battle Tale of Two Seasons
(CIRCUS PENGANTIN” Dongeng Pertempuran Dua Musim)
2005, The North Pole melted 220 km per cubic, the sea surface rose about
3 cm and the pressure was bigger on the depth of the sea. The weather
turned extreme and flood submerged the beach as the storm hit the sea.
If our hearts are depressed today, actually a battle is happening on the
depth of the sea...
“Do we still need life infrastructure when we have destroyed all the
formations to survive? Don’t we simply need maneuvers to finish up all
these games right away? In fact, we do not have any idea of life because
all we know is only how to control and make use of other people. Time
has been a worship sacrifice to our shorter lives. The fall season has
come and winter will come. It is time to move out to look for our
brides/bridegrooms in the spring season.”
In this exhibition, Sigit Pius and Eddi Gimbal will perform their
diaries of ‘a big world in their small world’ packed as a tale being
presented through visual arts media.
